It is not surprising that in photography and cinematography, for example, light is a basic principle and a very crucial component. For people, the absence and presence of light can define the high and low parts of people's lives. Light can mean happiness and hope while darkness can mean melancholy and depression. It can also mean day and night. People need day light for energy and no light to rest or sleep.
To capture great wildlife images of animals you need to get up early in the morning and start shooting when the sun is low in the sky. This will add mood to your images by making them feel warm. Most professional wildlife photographers build hides, which they stay in all day waiting for creatures to come along. They completely hide themselves and place their camera on a tripod to capture razor sharp images.
These types of photographs need to have a written record of the event kept with the photographs at all times. The old adage "A picture is worth a thousand words", won't hold true for photographs that are so content focused that the image explains nothing at all. Look at the image and decide if the picture does indeed tell the entire story. If not, document the event in writing and keep the documentation with the image.
Whenever I shoot an experienced model, I have pre-determined my lighting, and backdrops I intend to use, and have website gone over the shoot in my head many times! Trust me this is not the time for trying out new equipment, ideas or not having a plan!

As mentioned earlier, a photography setting of ISO 100 is satisfactory for portraits, landscape and wildlife. Just remember if you are shooting on a very bright day change it to ISO 50 and on a dull day change it to ISO 200.
